I started playing the piano when I was 6 and I have been playing the cello since I was 11, so it's safe to say music has always been an impactful part of my life. I love playing in ensembles and working through tough music to improve my musicality. Last year, I was principal cellist in Desert Vista's chamber orchestra and I have been in AZ North Central Region Orchestra since my freshman year. I hope to continue playing cello as a minor in college, or in a community orchestra. Music is a huge part of who I am!

I have played volleyball since elementary school and it is such a fun way to exercise and have fun with friends! Although I don't play club volleyball anymore, I recently started playing sand volleyball with some friends and it's been a blast! We even add themes to dress up every time and it makes it even more fun to play! The theme pictured below is a gender swap.
In 2019, I started Desert Vista High School's first all-girls Vex Robotics Team. It was a wonderful learning experience and taught me a lot about robotics, programming, and teamwork. We competed in one competition before the pandemic hit. We had many obstacles in our way, but it was still a successful year of learning and exploring an area of STEM.
